A dedicated Husky rescue for Oklahoma
Heartland Husky Rescue Foundation is a foster based rescue group that helps rescue, adopt, save, vet, and network huskies, malamutes, and other Northern Breed dogs in Oklahoma and in particular in the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and surrounding areas.
We are officially a non-profit corporation, and are proud to announce that we are now officially a 501c3 approved organization and that we can accept tax-deductible donations!

** UPDATE! **
As of September 2016, we are no longer accepting owner surrendered animals and choosing to focus on dogs with limited time at animal shelters. We will consider all completed owner surrender applications on a case to case basis, but reserve the right to refuse any or all owner surrenders until we have a larger foster base to deal with our many daily requests to take people's dogs.
Heartland Husky Rescue is 100% foster based, with foster homes located around Oklahoma, including in OKC, Midwest City, Tulsa and more. Our volunteers are more than willing to set up meeting locations convenient for you within the state of Oklahoma and within reasonable driving distance from the dog's foster home.
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out an application and one of our volunteers will be in touch with you.
If you have an emergency, please contact your local Animal Control office immediately, as we can not help.
