Why We Foster

All over Oklahoma, there are several Rescue Organizations and Shelters running at full capacity. Most of these places are forced to turn away perfectly healthy, happy, cute and cuddly northern breed dogs, or have to put them down for a lack of space or other resources.

Most of our Northern Breed friends are less destructive and less prone to run away from stable pack environments, which is why we encourage parents with existing packs to consider fostering. 

If you have always wanted to adopt, but were unsure about the commitment or the breed, being a short term foster parent is a great way to get to know different dogs' personalities and traits.
